ROUND ROCK McNEIL:
TREY DILWORTH 6-3 2014 4/3 Man
A athletic undersized swingman. Has quick moves in the paint, uses either hand around the rim, can hit the 15 foot jumper or create from the perimeter. He has a strong body, goes strong to the offensive boards, is a nice ball handler and plays hard.
VICTOR BAILEY 6-4 2017 1 Man
Has a long athletic basketball body. He is a good passer (see the floor) and the lefty point guard will become a bigger threat as he gets stronger going to his right. He has a nice pull-up 15 foot jumper and slashes to the rim. He has a lot of basketball savvy for just being a freshman.
ROUND ROCK CEDAR RIDGE:
DEANDRE DAVIS 6-1 2014 2/1 Man (To Grand Canyon)
Is athletic, gets good elevation on his jumper and gets to the rim. A good 1 on 1 player with a quick cross over move. A strong rebounding guard, a quick leaper and a really good passer who sees the floor and shares the basketball
Houstin St. John's 58 Austin St. Stephen's 45
St. John's, led by Duke signee, JUSTISE WINSLOW'S all around play came into Austin and defeated a very competitive St. Stephen's team. Winslow did an outstanding job of getting his teammates involved early and then took over in the second half when he scored 17 of his 27 points and controlled the boards.
St. Stephen's countered with Sam Houston State signee ALBERT ALMANZA who scored 18 points and assisted on baskets to his teammates. One of the more notable teammates was 6-9 sophomore JARRETT ALLEN. Other than being in early foul trouble, Allen was a definite presence on the defensive end of the court changing and blocking shots.
HOUSTON ST. JOHN'S:
JUSTISE WINSLOW 6-7 2014 3 Man (Duke signee)
A strong bodied lefty who doesn't force anything and lets the game come to him. He can get to the rim anytime he wants, finishes strong and gets to the line where he cashes in too. He has great hands, is strong on the boards and is a good shot blocker. He can take his man inside where he has quick and strong post moves.
AUSTIN ST. STEPHEN'S:
ALBERT ALMANZA 6-5 2014 3 Man (Sam Houston State signee)
A trim built fundamentally sound ball player. He can create and take his man 1 on 1, can hit the 3 or pull up for the mid-range jumper. He plays hard, has basketball savvy and moves well without the ball. His game will continue to improve as he gains weight and strength.
JARRETT ALLEN 6-9 2016 5/4 Man
A trim athletic body, he gets out and runs the floor really well for his size. He is still a little raw on offense but he works hard to get open on the post, shapes up well and can finish with nice post moves. He is a good rebounder and a nice shot blocker. He has a definite upside as he gains weight and strength.
