After a 1-9 season, Alexander is out as HC at Alief Hastings. Martel hired on Jan. 24, he was formerly HC at 3A Hardin-Jefferson for 8 seasons.
After no playoff appearances in the first 24 years of the school, Kenny Perry led the Vols to a 68-21 record and 3 quarter-final appearances. Perry leaves Bowie to take a job at TCU. Bowie hires former DC DeArman on April 11.
Ramirez who posted a 7-13 record in two seasons at Lopez leaves to take over at Carrollton Turner. OC Starkey promoted to HC.
Porter comes open after Garcia reassigned, the Cowboys were winless last year. Campos who is former HC at Hanna, spent last season at Edinburg Vela. He was named HC as part of a lawsuit settlement with BISD in one of the more bizarre stories of the off-season.
After five seasons, Larkins was promoted to a position in the AD office in CFBISD. Larkins posted a 3-47 record. Turner hires Brownsville Lopez HC Ramirez.
After opening Steele in 2005, Jinks has posted a 76-18 record at Steele including a 5A Division II title in 2010. He's leaving to take the RB coach job at Texas Tech. Steele stays in house and promotes OC Lenhoff to HC.
Hartman who is the only coach Clear Springs has known leaves after five seasons and a 40-18 record. He was named HC at his alma mater San Antonio East Central. Maldonado who was the DC, hired as the next HC.
After nine seasons, Conroe High alum Roger Holtkamp has resigned as HC. He led Conroe to the playoffs in 2012. Walker hired after a seven year run at San Antonio East Central.
After four years, Ezar leaves his alma mater to take the AD job at Willis. Powe who was hired as an assistant this spring promoted to head coach on July 28.
Hoffman leaves Del Rio to take over at Corsicana, he posted a 46-24 record in six seasons at Del Rio. OC and Del Rio grad McCrea hired.
Wash who oversaw one of the fastest growing schools in the state become a large 5A school is now moving into an AD only role. Burton hired on April 23, he was previously on staff at Fort Bend Dulles.
Ramiro Leal, Jr.
After going 9-2 in 2012, Moreno steps down to become Donna ISD AD. Former assistant Leal was promoted on Dec. 19.
Eagle Pass Winn
Ruiz is out after four seasons at Winn, he posted a 9-31 record. Winn plays at the 5A level despite having a 4A enrollment. Winn hires Villasenor who has spent the last 7 years as Eagle Pass OC.
El Paso Bel Air
Lopez who was an assistant on a state title team in Garland, never was able to get the Highlanders to the playoffs in his six year tenure at BA has resigned. Cervantes, who was DC at Clint Horizon hired as new HFC.
El Paso Socorro
Roy Garcia, III
After just two seasons, Garcia is out at Socorro. He posted a 3-17 record. Montwood OC Gonzalez hired to lead the Bulldogs.
After seven seasons, Hohenberger leaves to take over at Paris High. Irving MacArthur OC Rogers hired on June 17.
The seventh high school in Katy is expected to begin varsity football in 2014. Tademy who was the DC at Duncanville in 2012 is named HC. Tademy previously was LB coach at TCU.
McBryde was let go on Nov. 16 after an 0-10 season at Ellison. Gregory who was an offensive assistant at Leander Vandegrift hired on Jan. 17.
Killeen Harker Heights
Mullins in a surprise move resigns his post at HHHS to take an assistant role at 3A Navasota. Mansfield DC Edwards hired on July 12.
After 17 seasons as the HC at McAllen, Harris was re-assigned after missing the playoffs in 2012. Brewer, a former player at TCU named HC, he was OC at Rowlett most recently.
Webb leaves after five seasons at Horn where he led the Jags to a 31-28 mark. He takes over at Rockwall. Overton comes over to Horn from 4A West Mesquite after a successful seven year run.
After three seasons, Coach Magee has resigned at North Crowley. In three years Magee posted a 9-21 record. Rogers who was an assistant on staff at North Crowley when they won a 4A state title comes over after a stint as DC at Haltom. Rogers was HC at Manor HS for 3 seasons as well.
After four seasons and a 23-21 record in his second stint in MOJO-land Gaines is retiring. Feldt who won a state title at Pilot Point in 2009, takes over at one of the state's most storied programs he was 18-6 in two seasons at Hays Consolidated.
Pasadena South Houston
Whittington is out after six seasons. He posted a 21-42 record. Whittington also served as HC at his alma mater Prairie View A&M in 2003. Dickinson DC Lane named HC and started at SHHS on April 1.
After nine seasons at the helm, Ringo surprisingly submitted his resignation on April 29. Ringo, who is the current Executive Director of the THSCA posted a 51-46 record at the state's largest HS. PESH makes a big splash hiring Mesquite Poteet HC Randy Jackson.
After just one season as HC Lucero has been re-assigned to Central Administration. Marroquin was hired on Dec. 10, he was the OC at PSJA Memorial last year.
Bush retires after a 5-5 season at PSJA North. Flores comes over to North after a stint as OC at Edinburg Economedes.
After seven seasons at Rockwall, Smith has resigned duties as RHS HFC and as the Athletic Director in Rockwall ISD. Webb comes to Rockwall after a successful five year run at Mesquite Horn.
Hardin who turned Rowlett into a perennial playoff team, retires after a 4-7 season. Hardin led Gatesville to the 2000 3A Division I State Title. Stephens, who was the Sachse OC in 2012 named HC on Jan. 22
San Antonio East Central
Walker after seven seasons leaves East Central to take over at Conroe. Walker posted a 43-37 record at ECHS. Hartman hired as new HC after a successful run at Clear Springs, he is an East Central alum.
San Antonio Holmes
Rodriguez promoted to asst. AD in Northside ISD, Holmes hires former Boerne Champion DC Salas to replace him.
San Antonio Jay
After six seasons at the helm at Jay, Goforth leaves to take over at his alma mater Caldwell. Former Levelland and Houston Sharpstown HC Gary Gutierrez hired on April 16.
San Antonio Marshall
Kaiser has resigned to take the Boerne Champion job after leading the Rams to the playoffs in 2012. Williams who was OC at Holmes hired on Jan. 22
San Antonio Roosevelt
LaHue, who led Roosevelt to a surprising 9-3 mark in 2012 is named new HC at Buda Hays Consolidated. Former Waco University HC Matt Carroll hired on March 18, Carroll does have ties to Roosevelt as he was an assistant there previously.
San Antonio Stevens
Bridges who took San Antonio Stevens to the state semi-finals in 2010 and back in 2001 took San Antonio Taft to the state finals leaves to take over at Leander. Stevens hires DC Darryl Hemphill on April 22.
San Antonio Wagner
Gibbens will retire at the end of the school year at Judson ISD's second HS. Wagner hires former Cibolo Steele asst. Charles Bruce.
Amendola who started DeKaney's program back in 2008 and led the Wildcats to a state title in 2011 and another trip to the playoffs in 2012. He has received a promotion to a position in athletic administration in Spring ISD. DeKaney hires OC Williams to lead the program.
After three seasons as football coach for the Kangaroos, Waller has resigned. Nelms hired on Feb. 5, he leaves Wimberley after winning two state championships.
Cuellar, the only HC Weslaco East has ever known, is retiring his stint at East lasted 13 seasons. OC Burgett promoted to HC on Feb 25
After Keith Willis left to take the job at Waco University, LBJ hires Manor asst. Andrew Jackson. Prior to being at Manor, Jackson was HC at Lancaster.
Perry reassigned after five seasons, he posted a 27-27 record and took the Bears to the 2010 4A State Quarter-Finals. Patmon who was the top assistant hired on May 7.
Washington has been reassigned within the district after four seasons as HC at Central. He posted a 22-23 record in four years. Foreman who has been an assistant at LaMarque, comes back to the Golden Triangle as he was a long time assistant at West Orange-Stark before a year stint at Texarkana Texas and LaMarque.
Nelson who led Ozen to back to back playoff trips in 2011 and 2012 (including a third round trip in 2011) has been reassigned after four seasons as HC. Magee, who has HC experience at North Crowley and Ft Bend Willowridge hired on March 21.
Moses leaves Beeville after four seasons to take a job on staff at Canyon Lake. Moses who previously was HC at Lockhart posted a 15-27 at Jones. Mitchell, who was previously HC at Sealy and Sinton named HC May 9.
After leading Champion to another playoff appearance, Threadgill has announced his retirement. Former San Antonio Marshall HC was named the new HC on Dec. 14
Buda Hays Consolidated
After two seasons at Hays and an 18-6 record, Feldt resigns to take the HC position at Odessa Permian. LaHue, who was HC at San Antonio Roosevelt named new coach on Feb. 15.
Castroville Medina Valley
Emerson leaves Medina Valley to take the job at 3A Lampasas. MVHS hires former Hutto and Fort Worth Arlington Heights HC Steve Hale.
After four seasons at Corsicana, Castles leaves to take over at Henderson. Castles led Corsicana to the 2011 state semi-finals and posted a 30-19 record. Corsicana hires former Del Rio HC Hoffman as their next coach on April 8.
Roberson leaves BA as he is promoted to assistant AD in Dallas ISD. OC Ron Grace hired to lead the program.
Argenti announces his retirement after five years as HC at Lincoln, he was also HC at Adamson and Pinkston. Fitch, a former TCU player was an assistant on staff at Lincoln.
Donna North, which will begin varsity play in 2014 and is expected to be a 4A school (5A after realignment changes) hires Donna asst. Sauceda as first HC.
After six seasons in the Panhandle, Dumas leaves to take over at Joshua. He posted a 31-33 record in his six seasons at Dumas taking the Demons to the playoffs four times. Amarillo Tascosa DC Chad Dunham hired as HC on April 22.
After a tumultous 2012, which resulted in Solis being suspended by the SEC for practice violations, Solis resigns after ten years and 99 wins at Edcouch-Elsa. Marichalar, a former star player at E-E and an assistant on staff promoted to HC.
El Paso Austin
Burges DC, Rodney Ryan takes over at Austin.
Fort Bend Willowridge
After just one season, McDowell resigns as he's hired as new HC at Richmond Foster. Willowridge will be on their third HC in 3 seasons. Longtime Rosenberg Terry asst. Lazarou who spent 2012 at WHS hired.
Fort Worth Arlington Heights
Heights will be on their third HC in three years, as after one season Todd Whitten resigns to be the WR coach at UTEP. Young, who was OC at Heights in 2012 named new HC. He was HC at Cleburne from 2006-2011.
Zepeda posted a 33-36 record in 7 seasons at GPHS and has resigned as HFC and is taking a position in the AD office in Cy Fair ISD. GPHS hires Richardson Berkner DC Dave Handal on March 22.
Vallestro who won a state title at LaGrange in 2000, couldn't get Ball on track going 2-18 in two seasons. He resigned to take another position inside GISD. Ball hires former Galveston Ball star and former Kansas City Chief player Kimble Anders.
Arnold resigned not long after the end of the 2012 season and longtime assistant Porter promoted to HC.
Houston North Forest
The imminent takeover of the district by Houston ISD causing a total house cleaning at NFHS. Atkins being let go despite leading the Bulldogs to 11 wins in 2012. Ferrell, who was an assistant at Spring Westfield hired to take over.
Steve Van Meter
Hale leaves Hutto after three seasons to take over at Medina Valley. Hutto hires former Friendswood HC Van Meter, who was retired in 2012.
Bird who posted a 5-35 record in four seasons at Joshua has resigned as head coach and athletic director. Burt hired on April 3 after spending six years at Dumas.
Harper who posted a 19-6 record in two seasons at Leander, heads to his alma mater Marshall to take over as head coach. Bridges who started up the program at San Antonio Stevens was hired on March 28.
The BBQ capital of Texas is searching for a new HC as Paul Kilby takes over at 3A Sweeny. Herman who was previously the HC at Eustace takes over and will keep the Slot T offense in town.
Credeur resigns at Lumberton to tak an assistant job somewhere in the Golden Triangle, location not yet released. Former Hardin HC Haynes hired in late May.
After just three wins in two seasons, Richters was reassigned shortly after the end of the 2012 season. Harper who had a very successful two year stint at Leander returns to his alma mater to try and turn around a struggling program.
Mesquite Poteet is searching for a head coach after Randy Jackson leaves to take the Plano East job. Poteet hires DC Groves on June 18.
North Dallas HFC Pierson leaves to take over at Quinlan Boles. Dallas Lincoln assistant Charles Moss hired to take over.
Pharr Valley View
Navarro leaves Valley View to become AD only at Edcouch-Elsa after two seasons and a 7-13 record. VVHS improved to 6-4 in 2012 after going 1-9 in 2011. Pena who was OC last year promoted to HC.
Hinojos accepts position as director of youth outreach in Plainview ISD. PHS promotes OC Rhodes to the head coaching position.
After taking Foster to the playoffs for the sixth time, Coach Waitrek is retiring. Waitrek is the only coach FHS has ever known, he spent eleven years at Foster. McDowell hired on Feb. 21 after one season at Ft Bend Willowridge.
Royse City struggled in their four seasons under Strahm going 8-34. Petroff hired on Feb. 21, he was previously DC at Waco Midway.
San Antonio McCollum
After ten seasons and a 54-54 record, Carl Klann resigns at McCollum. McCollum hires former Pearsall HC Hinojosa on March 18.
Carroll resigns from Waco University after five seasons and a 17-25 record. Keith Willis comes over after just one season at Austin LBJ.
After seven seasons and a 54-28 record, Overton leaves to take over at cross town Mesquite Horn. Neill who was the OC under Overton hired on April 8.
White Settlement Brewer
Sharr resigns after five seasons as head coach at Brewer. He posted a 23-27 record. Cord Smith, who was the OC named new head coach for the 2013 season.
After nine seasons at Whitehouse and posting a 59-43 record McFarlin is being non-renewed at Whitehouse. McFarlin turned Whitehouse from a perennial doormat to a playoff team 7 straight seasons. OC Cook hired as new HC.
WFHS grad Lavender resigned after four seasons and a 10-30 record. Danny Russell named HC Jan. 28, he was the DC at Garland.
Amarillo River Road
After two seasons, Carr leaves River Road to take the OC gig at Hebron. River Road hires Wiggins on May 1, he had been the HC at Vega the past five seasons.
After two seasons and just one win, Esparza resigns as HC at Anthony. Anthony plays in Class 3A despite having an enrollment of small 2A school due to travel considerations. Stephenson, who was OC at Santa Teresa, NM hired on Feb. 21
David T. Sine
After five seasons, Prince is out as HC at Bandera. He posted an 18-34 record. Bandera hires Sine, who was HC at Columbus for one season.
Thomison who was placed on administrative leave earlier in the off-season officially out as HC after two seasons. Hooker hired on March 7, he was the OC at Texarkana Liberty-Eylau.
Shipley who has had stints at Rotan, Burnet and Coppell before heading to Brownwood leaves to take a job on staff at the University of Texas. Former DC Chuck Howard promoted on April 25.
After just one season in Caldwell, Gilchrist returns to Whitney where he was HC from 2009-2011. Goforth hired to take over at his alma mater after six years as HC at 5A San Antonio Jay.
David T. Sine
After one season, Sine leaves Columbus to take over at Bandera. Valastro who was HC at Galveston Ball hired on April 22.
Simon who had a stint in the NFL after a stellar college career, moves on to the college ranks after just one season at Roosevelt. He'll be the RB coach at Southern Miss. This will be Roosevelt's third HC in three seasons. Bonds, who was the DC at Dallas Kimball hired on March 19.
Frisco Lone Star
Fuller who started the Lone Star program three years ago, retires with a 11-20 at LSHS.
Martel resigns after 8 seasons as he was hired at 5A Alief Hastings, he posted a 25-55 record at H-J. Dubois, who was the OC at Vidor hired on March 28.
Meeks resigns to take the HFC job at Pittsburg, he won the 3A Division I state title in 2010 and posted a 43-30 record. Castles returns to East Texas after a four year stint at Corsicana.
Hidalgo will be searching for their third coach in three years as Ford leaves after one season to take over at Elysian Fields. Assistant Taihi Jones hired to take over.
Jones, after leading Washington to the 4A playoffs in 2011, is out after a 3-7 season. Aldine Nimitz asst. Stacie Pierson hired.
After five seasons as football coach for the Lions, Yates alum Miller is out as head coach. Yates hires Baytown Lee asstiant Jeff Ceasar.
Hopkins is out after four seasons at Huntington, which has never made the football playoffs. He posted a 4-36 record. Seven year assistant Soderquist hired as replacement.
Randolph resigns from Lampasas after a 1-9 season in 2012. Emerson comes to Lampasas after a successfu stint at 4A Medina Valley.
Gutierrez resigns at Levelland after four seasons. Sanderson promoted to HC after a stint as DC at Levelland.
After a 3-7 season Deel resigns at Liberty. The transfer of the starting QB at LHS was a big part in the subpar season. LaPorte OC Chad Taylor named new HC.
Longview Spring Hill
Spring Hill will be looking for their fourth HC in five years as Chadwick leaves to take over at a charter school in Longview. Spring Hill hires former ETBU HC Mark Sartain.
Windham was promoted to full time AD at the growing district on Dec. 13. Windham was the HC for 14 years and led the Pirates to 7 playoff appearances. Kattwinkel who was formerly the OC at Cooper, hired on Jan. 24.
Bowman resigns his post to take over as the DC at 4A Longview Pine Tree. In two seasons at the helm at Paris he posted a 17-6 record, prior to that he won 3 state titles in 3 seasons at Daingerfield. Paris native Hohenberger hired on May 13 after a seven year stint as HC at Irving Nimitz.
Pearsall improved from 0-10 to 3-7 in 2012, but it wasn't enough for Juan Hinojosa as he was re-assigned. Silva who was the OC at Pearsall in 2012 elevated to HC.
Manley resigns after six seasons at Pittsburg. He was 40-28 in his time at Pitt and led PHS to the state semi-finals in 2009. Meeks whose six years at Henderson include a state title in 2010 and a semi-final appearance in 2011 takes over.
Dillard who helped end a 32 year playoff drought at PHS, is being promoted to AD only. He was 21-23 in his four seasons at Princeton. Wilkins who was the DC at Princeton hired on Jan. 21
After four seasons, Hernandez steps down as the HC of the Red Ants. PHS hires top assistant Salazar as HC.
Wilson retires after leading Stafford to the area playoffs in 2013. Stafford hires former Strake Jesuit HFC Ron Counter on July 11.
After leading Sweeny to the third round of the playoffs in 2011, Sawyer resigned after an injury plauged season in 2012. Sweeny hires Kilby from 4A Lockhart to take over.
River Oaks Castleberry
After one season Stine resigns at Castleberry, DC Cantu promoted to HC.
Mitchell leaves Sealy to take over at 4A Beeville Jones. Sealy hires former Lexington HC Jason Holcomb.
After just one win in two seasons at West, Gillespie resigned and will be taking an assistant gig in Shallowater. Woodard promoted to HC on Dec. 17.
Nelms who has been a HC for 29 seasons had two seperate stints at Wimberley. He won state titles in 2005 and 2011. Longtime OC Doug Warren promoted to HC.
Class 2A DIVISION I
Davenport leaves Aransas Pass after one year to become an assistant at George West where he was formerly HC. Top assistant Villalon promoted to HC.
After an 8-22 record in three seasons, Bowden has been reassigned. Early hires Refugio assistant Kent Hawthorne as next HC.
Herman leaves Eustace after a successful stint to take over at 4A Lockhart. Eustace promotes DC Ragle to HFC on May 14.
Rios leaves Falfurrias after a 6-4 season to take over at Hebbronville. McGhee who was a former HC at Wink, was named HC April 25. McGhee was on staff at Falfurrias.

Holt who spent a total of 11 seasons at George West resigns in his second stint at GWHS. In the past five years George West has won 4 district titles. Principal Jay Newberry takes over as HC.

Once a power in East Texas, Grand Saline has fallen on hard times. In two seasons at the helm Ludlow posted a 6-14 record. GSHS hires alum and former Clear Falls asst. Michael Ridge
Watson after a 4-16 record as HC has stepped down from his role as HC, he will remain with the district in a different capacity until 2014. Weimar head coach Zack Hudson hired on April 18.
Long resigns after two seasons as HC at Idalou to become DC at Andrews. Lofton, who was an assistant on staff hired March 6.
After the retirement of Jerry Bennett, Jefferson promotes OC Derek Simmons to HFC.
Coby Owen out as HC at Kermit after two seasons and a 7-13 record. Former assistant Heredia named new HC.
After one season, Hensley is out at Marlin after just one season. Marlin promotes top assistant Bennie Huitt.
Mathis is looking for a new coach after Molina resigns after two seasons and a 12-8 record. Holt, who was the HC at George West officially hired on April 22.
Johnson leaves after one season to become OL coach at Duncanville. Maypearl hires Quinlan Boles HFC Gordon Jordan.
Barker leaves New Boston for a gig in Arkansas, NBHS promotes OC Thomas to HC.
After eight seasons Treybig resigns, he had been a HC for a total of 24 seasons and posted a 136-109-1 record. He had stops at Houston Christian, Vanderbilt Industrial, Sweeny and Palacios as a HC. Former Early HC Bowden hired on April 8.
Longtime Paradise HC Danny Neighbors is retiring, Neighbors was HC at Paradise for 16 seasons. Hart, who was the DC at Wellington hired on March 25. Hart resigned on May 17, however. Paradise hires DC Scoutt Broussard in May 20.
After 14 seasons and five playoff appearances, Schuelke resigns. Prairiland hires former Marshall HC Alex Richters.
Phillips leaves Ponder after just one season to take an assistant job at Denton Guyer. Former Prariland HC Scheulke hired on July 15.
Ray is out as HC after a 5-5 season, assistant Eric Droddy named as new HC.
Red Oak Life
Mike Underwood takes over for Mark Larsen at the charter school south of Dallas.
Dumont heads into retirement after 8 seasons at Rice Consolidated. He posted a 80-27 record and took the Raiders to the 2A semi-finals in 2007 and 2008, along with quarter-final appearances in 2009 and 2010. Rice Cons. hires OC Gary Zeinart on April 22.
After three seasons, Talbott resigns as HC posting an 8-22 record. Graham, who was the DC at Sherman hired on March 25.

After six seasons at Santa Rosa and a 34-33 record Gonzalez resigns at HC at Santa Rosa. Gonzalez took SRHS to the playoffs three times. Garcia, who was DC at PSJA hired as new HC.
Stanton is out at Whitney after just one season on the job. Gilchrist, who was HC at Whitney from 2009-2011 returns to Whitney after one season at Caldwell.
Class 2A DIVISION II
Cross resigns after 3 seasons to take over at Tom Bean. He posted a 13-18 record at Rivercrest. Canyon Randall DL coach Pointer hired to lead Rivercrest.
After four seasons, Permenter resigns to take an assistnat role at Sweeny. He posted an 22-21 record at BHS. Former Louise HC and current assistant on staff Tritschler approved by school board on June 11.
Johnson, who was HC at Colorado City for 11 years and posted a 82-42 record heads to Holliday to take over as HC. Johnson is graduate of Iowa Park HS. Longtime OC Gainey hired on March 21.
King who had his contract non-renewed in 2011, led EFHS to the state semi-finals in 2012 but was still unable to come to an agreement w/administration on a new contract. EFHS hires Scott Ford who was the HC at Hidalgo in 2012, before that Ford was HC at Los Fresnos and Nacogdoches.
Smithey posted an 11-19 record in three seasons at Freer. Freer hires Port Isabel OC Jake Hofstetter as their next HC on May 16.
Davis after just one season is out as HC after an 0-10 campaign. Rios, who was HC at Falfurrias hired on March 22.
After a difficult 1-9 season, Stanley resigns as HC at Hemphill. Launius who was previously the OC at LaMarque hired on Jan. 16
Patton, who was HC only last year may still return as HFC. However, Holliday has decided to re-combine HFC/AD position meaning the position is being posted once again. Holliday hires former Colorado City HC Frank Johnson as new HC, it's Hollidays's first HFC hire from outside the district in four decades.
Wally Moon is out as head coach at Santa Gertrudis Academy. Former assistant Burleson hired on March 22.
Holcomb leaves Lexington to take over at Sealy. Lexington hires DC Mohl to take over.
Billy Dan Chambliess
Harvell, who led Mildred to the state championship game in 2012 resigns to take a job in administration. In five seasons he had a 48-15 record, including 26-3 the last two seasons. Chambliess, who was the DC is promoted to head coach and athletic director.
After one season Perez is moving to an AD only role. Torbert, who was HC at Lamesa until 2011 but left for administration is back and hired on April 16.
After eight seasons Hasley resigns with a 32-50 record, Chisum has won just one game the past two seasons. OC Wasurick hired as new HC.
Joy resigns after just one season at Skidmore-Tynan, he posted a 3-7 record. S-T hires former Alice DC Stephen Silva as their HC May 13. Silva resigned quickly and Livas, former Goliad OC hired on May 21.
Price resigns from Tom Bean after going 7-13 in two seasons. Cross who spent three years at Bogota Rivercrest as head coach hired on Feb. 18.
Scott took over in early 2010 in the wake of the program forefitting the end of the 2009 season and compiled a 12-19 record including a trip to the playoffs in 2012. Gray who was the OC at North Dallas hired on April 18.
Minter is out after four seasons, he posted an 8-32 record. Bonewald, hired on March 6 he was previously OC at Boerne Champion.
Wylie resigns after just two seasons at Whitewright. Despite having one of the country's top prospects, the Tigers posted a 1-9 record after making the playoffs in 2011. Rhoten who most recently was OC at 3A Robinson named new HC. Rhoten has previous HC experience at Canton.
CLASS 1A DIVISION I
Gardner, powered one of the state's top 1A programs in the state for the past eight season announces his retirement. He posted an 80-20 record and won state titles in 2006 and 2007. OC Paul Gould hired on May 21.
After two seasons at the helm, Castles is out as HC as he moves into a role in administration. He posted a 3-17 record. Hasley hired at ACHS after a stint as HC at Paris Chisum.
Jenkins leaves Cayuga after three seasons to take an assistant job in Tenaha. He posted a 22-14 record. Holden, an assistant with a solid track record at stops like Alamo Heights, promoted.
Robey leaves Cushing to join the staff at 4A New Caney Porter. Former Richardson Pearce asst. Bill Jehling will be the new HC.
After three seasons at the helm, Richards resigns as HC at GHS. He posted a 9-22 mark at Grapeland, leading the Sandies to the playoffs in 2011.
After leading the Gladiators to the state semi-finals in his first year, Hollywood leaves to take the DC job at 2A Palmer. Italy hires Tindol who was originally hired to be the OC, he was previously at Iola and is an 18 year coaching veteran.
After two seasons at the helm, Campbell is out as HC. He posted a 4-16 record. Itasca hires former Covington HC Parsons. Parsons makes the jump from six man, but prior to his stint in the six man game he was an assistant at Kemp, Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Anna and Mesquite Poteet.
After just one season at the helm, Perez leaves LaVilla to join the staff at Edcouch-Elsa. Salinas hired for his second stint at La Villa, in 2012 he was the OC at Skidmore-Tynan.
Moerbe who won 52 games in nine seasons at Lockney is moving into an AD only role. Lockney promotes DC Jay Ragland to HC. Ragland, an Odessa Permian graduate played for a state title team in 1984.
Malakoff Cross Roads
Wallace is out after just one season at Cross Roads. Former Shelbyville HFC Bradford hired on July 8.
Garza not retained after going 4-6 in the program's first varsity season. Castillo a former PSJA assistant named HC.
After four seasons at Olney and just seven wins, Coach Rodriguez resigns from Olney. Hugh Farmer takes over after a 13-1 season a year ago at Frederick, OK. Farmer has been an assistant at Paris, Lampasas, Dimmitt and Clarendon previously.
After three seasons and a 18-15 record, Brown has resigned as HC at Ozona. ozona hires former Cumby and Olton HC Ed Perez on March 27.
Boles comes open after Jordan leaves to take over at Maypearl. Boles hires North Dallas HFC Pierson on July 8.
After not playing varsity football for two seasons, Santa Maria made the playoffs this year. However, 2012 will be Coach Muir's only season at the helm as he was non-renwed. SMHS hires Aguirre who was previously a head coach at a private school in California.
Bradford has resigned after a 3-7 2012 campaign, he coached at SHS for five seasons with a 23-36 record. Former Memphis and DeLeon HC Ferguson hired as new HC.
Hudson leaves Weimar to take over at Howe. Weimar hires Husman who was an assistant on staff.
After one season, Bright is out as HC at Winters. The Blizzards on Feb. 28 hires Caffey who spent the last seven years at Springlake-Earth.
Alexander out as HFC at Yorktown. Robinson who was the DC at Palestine hired on June 28.
CLASS 1A DIVISION II
After three seasons, Conley is no longer the HFC/AD at Baird. BHS won nine games in his first year on the job but won only one game in 2011 and 2012. Mineral Wells asst. and Baird alum Barron hired on May 23.
Ingram leaves Burkeville to take the DC job at 4A Elgin. Former assistant Thomas hired.
Lane leaves Claude to become DC at 2A New Waverly. Claude hires Ingram Moore DC Michael Wagner.
Former Callisburg OC Dracos replaces Gary Parrish who is out after just one year.
Dawson in search of a new coach as Hawkins is out after a 1-9 2012 campaign. Prince, former Bandera HC hired on at Dawson.
Wilhelm retirng after 3 1/2 seasons at the helm in Eldorado. Wilhelm took over mid-season in 2009. Eldorado hires former Seagraves HC Bryan Green, who posted a 6-14 in two seasons.
Hastings resigns after four seasons at Irion County, he posted a 10-30 record. ICHS hires former Miles HC Brett White.
Gutherey replaces Simmons at Gorman.
After two seasons Acosta is out as head coach. He posted a 7-13 record at La Pryor. Ganado OC Stephens hired on May 29.
After just one season as HC at Maud, Langely leaves to take a job outside of coaching. Kortes hired after being the OC of 3A Div. II State Champion Navasota.
McCamey is searching for a new head coach after the resignation of Chris McWilliams. McWilliams was 14-8 in two seasons at McCamey. Former Iraan HC Fellows hired on July 5, he was the OC at Reagan County a year ago.
Allen leaves after one season to take over as OC at Ozona. Top assistant Silva promoted to HC.
Miles will be on their third coach in three seasons as White is out as HC. Haltom DC Chad Currie hired on April 17.
Tercero is out after two seasons at Morton. Former Lampasas HC Jimmy Randolph hired on May 20.
Deaver resigns after 3 seasons and a 5-26 record, he took Ranger to the playoffs in 2010. Van Vleck DC Brian Ramey hired as HC April 22.
Wallace resigns after two seasons at Runge, he posted an 11-11 record. Wright who was an assistant a year ago hired on May 15.
San Angelo TLC
Taylor who started the football program at TLC leaves to go into private business after posting a 6-24 record in three seasons. Former principal Johnny Burleson, moved to HFC/AD.
Green leaves Seagraves after two seasons to take over at Eldorado. Refugio DC Heryford hired as new HFC.
John David Caffey
After seven seasons at Springlake-Earth and a 53-33 record, Caffey is hired as HC at Winters HS. Caffey's son John David who was the OC hired to take over at Springlake-Earth.
After just one season as HC at Union Hill, Brakel leaves to take the OC job at Killeen Ellison.
Wiggins leaves Vega to take over at 3A Amarillo River Road. In five seasons at Vega he posted a 16-38 record. Top assistant Porton hired as new HFC.
